Haryana NEET Counseling 2019

Haryana Neet Counselling 2018 is important as the state of Haryana is preparing for the upcoming NEET counselling 2018 and you can feel the lingering anticipation in the air. Each student who has filled up their NEET applications form are eagerly tapping their feet against a chair, waiting for the date if the examination to come. As only a few days are left, everyone across the country is either revising up their memories or are thinking about their future in the field of medical science.

Well, no matter how the exams will be, each and every mind is pondering over a single thought, admission counselling after the results will be declared. And why not, after all the ranks in the NEET will decide the college of a particular student either on 15% AIQ or 85% state quota.

AIQ counselling will be done on All India basis and that is why the number of seats in the participating institutions is less, thereby giving the students a limited number of opportunities. When NEET took over the All India Pre Medical Test in 2016, the Directorate General of Health Sciences and other members of the Indian Medical Council decided to divide the admission into two parts. One would be done on All India basis rank while another would state wise. They gave more opportunity to the state rankers and hence kept the state quota to be 85%.

Each state arranges the counselling process under this category and the participating institutions fix the number of seats according to the total examiners belonging to the state. The same is the case of the Haryana state council where many institutions are participating or in the NEET counselling 2018.Both the medical colleges offering a degree in MBBS and dental institutions offering a degree in BDS will be participating in this counselling session.

The procedure of selection and admission to the participating institutions
The entire Haryana NEET counselling will be conducted in offline mode or what we know the physical counselling.
The entire procedure is segregated into a number of steps that has its own deadline and once the deadline is achieved, the portal will automatically close. This will not allow anyone to have a further access to that particular portal.

Each candidate whose name will be on the state merit list will have to register himself or herself with Haryana NEET counselling portal. Other details about the registration process will be uploaded on the official website after the results are out.

Once the registration will be completed, the candidate will need to fill a choice list with the names of colleges of his/her desire. The college filling should be done keeping in mind that the preference decreases downwards.

After the filling up is done, candidates will have to lock their choices. Keep this in kind that once locked, you will not be allowed to do any change in the list.

There will be four rounds of counselling, the last of which will decide the fate of a particular candidate. Withdrawal from one counselling round is possible under certain terms and conditions. Every candidate can follow up to the final round of counselling before accepting the paper of the selected college.
