SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) is an entrance examination conducted by SRM Group of Universities for B.Tech Programs every year. In this article, you will get all the information about the upcoming SRMJEEE 2020.

Students who want to pursue B.Tech in any of the university of SRM Groups viz SRM Institute of Science and Technology, SRM University AP- Amravati and SRM University, Haryana – Sonepat need to crack the examination with the qualifying cut-off marks decided by the University.

How to apply for SRMJEEE 2020?

Candidates can apply for the Entrance examination through both Online and Offline modes.

Offline application is to be open for submission till the 29th of February and the online application till the 30th of March. No application will be entertained if submitted after the last date. Candidates can use the correction facility of the application form tentatively from the second week of April 2020. However, candidates cannot change their email id, mobile no. and campus preference  Check the steps given below to know more about the procedure to submit the application.

 

How to fill up SRMJEEE 2020 application form?

Online Mode

Candidates can avail the online mode to submit the application by following the steps given below.

Step 1: Registration

Candidates need to register themselves by providing their details like name, contact number, email address, etc. On successful registration, a link with be mailed to them on the provided email address which they need to validate in order to activate their account.

Step 2: Filling the details

Candidates after activating their account need to log in with their credentials and start filling up the online application with the required details. Along with the required details, candidates will have to select a minimum of three Examination Centres from the available list according to their preferences. Then they need to upload a photograph of themselves along with a signature by adhering to the specifications set by the authorities.

Step 3: Submission of Application and payment

After filling out all the information and agreeing to the declaration, candidates need to submit their application form. It is to be noted that the application form can be submitted through both online and offline mode.

For the online mode, they can submit by paying the requisite application fee through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.

Or

They can also submit their application through offline mode by paying the payment through Demand Draft (DD)

For this, candidates will have to print out the filled online application form and send it to the authorities along with the DD drawn in favour of SRMIST, payable at Chennai. However, candidates need to ensure that the application reaches the institute before the last date. They will be required to mention their name and address on the reverse side of the DD and send it to the address given below:

Offline mode

(i) Candidates who have attempted PCMEA in SRMJEEE(UG) are eligible for all the B.Tech Degree Programs

(ii) Candidates who have attempted PCBEA in SRMJEEE(UG) are eligible for B.Tech. Biotechnology, B.Tech Biotechnology with all its specialization and B.Tech Biomedical Engineering

 

Eligibility criteria:

  1. Nationality

Resident Indians, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and PIO or OCI card holders as issued by the GOI are eligible to enroll themselves for the examination.

  1. Age

Candidates must be born between July 1, 1999 to July 1, 2004. Maximum age limit is 21 years.

  1. Academic Qualifications

Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.

 Candidates who are appearing in 10+2 in the academic year can also apply for SRMJEEE. However, candidates who have completed both their 10 and 10+2 from NIOS will not be eligible for SRMJEEE.

How to get the SRMJEEE admit card?

Candidates can download the admit card from the official site by logging in with their credentials from the second week of April tentatively. They need to take a print out of the same and carry it to the examination hall along with two passport size recent colour photographs on the day of examination.

 

How to get the SRMJEEE result 2020?

  • A merit list will be prepared based on the total marks secured in the SRMJEEE (UG).
  • The examination result and counselling details will be published on the Institute website: www.srmist.edu.in and also intimated to the candidates through e-mail.
