Dr A.P.J. UPSEE Counselling 2020 Application Process:

First of all the candidates applying for UPSEE Counselling 2020 must qualify the UPSEE Exam 2020 and secure minimum qualifying marks for the allotment of seats. Apart from this there are some eligibility criteria for the candidates that they must fulfil in order to go through counselling session of UPSEEBelow mentioned are the steps that is to be followed by the aspirants in order to apply for UPSEE Counselling 2020

Steps for UPSEE Counselling 2020 Registration process:

Step1-        First of all the candidates must register themselves on the official website of UPSEE i.e. www.upsee.nic.in . The candidate must fill in the general details and be provided with the ID and Password for future correspondence.

Step 2-       At this step candidates have to pay UPSEE Counselling fee 2020 which Rs. 20, 000 for Unreserved Category and Rs. 12000 for Reserved Category i.e. SC & ST. The UPSEE Counselling fee is to be paid only via online mode through E- Challan.

Step 3- The choice filling is the next step in which the list of courses and colleges are available for making the choice. The list shown is as per the eligibility in UPSEE 2020 ExamIt is advised to choose the college as per the preference of the candidates. Choice Locking is another part of this section where a time interval is provided to the candidates to lock their choice.

Step 4-       Result announcement of seat allotment by the authorities is done via online mode where an aspirant can check their seat allotment status of UPSEE Counselling 2020. At this stage, there are four options available for the students to opt for i.e. Freeze, Float and Withdraw.

Step 5-       Candidates have to visit to the reporting centres as mentioned by the UPSEE Counselling 2020 authority and have to carry documents for the verification process. If the candidate would not be able to reach the reporting centres in the stipulated period of time his/her admission would be cancelled by the authorities.

UPSEE Counselling 2020 Documents required

There are many documents that have to present to the allotted document verification centres in order to get the hassle-free counselling process.

  • Four Passport size photographs
  • Admit card of UPSEE Exam 2020.
  • Result card of UPSEE Exam 2020.
  • Class 12th Passing certificate and Marksheets.

About UPSEE 2020

UPSEE consists of eight papers. Students have an option of choosing one or more than one paper as per the course they wanted to select. It is an offline exam i.e. pen-paper exam which is to given on an OMR sheet.

  • There will be 4 marks awarded for every correct answer.
  • There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
  • OMR Sheet would be used for the exam as it is a pen-paper based exam.

UPSEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age Limit: There is no age limit for candidates sitting in UPSEE
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Candidates who have successfully passed out their 12th standard or Senior Secondary exams are eligible to apply. Students who going to give their class 12th examination are also eligible to apply.
    • Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in their class 12th examination.
  • Number of Attempts: Candidate can make many attempts in the exam. As there is no limit for making attempts.
  • Compulsory Subjects: Candidates have to clear their qualifying exam i.e. their Senior Secondary (12th) examination or its equivalent with the following subject combination:

Steps to follow for filling up theUPSEE 2020 Application form

  • Candidate must visit the official website of UPSEE i.e. www.upsee.nic.in and register themselves online.
  • Note down the application number and ID and password provided to the candidate on their valid mobile number.
  • Log in to the website with the credentials provided.
  •  Fill the application form and fill the details asked in the form.
  • Upload the photograph and signatures with the correct file size asked in the format.
  • Payment could be made only via online mode.
  • Take the print out of the application form for the acknowledgement and future references.

Freeze, Float and Withdrawal Terminology

Freeze: The name itself suggests that the candidates who are satisfied with the colleges that they got as per their ranks can freeze the college/institute and they will get the admission by going through the counselling session.

Float: Any upgradation in the college or in course is expected by the

Candidate would let him wait for the second round of counselling and have the chances that would get the desired college/course.

Withdrawal:  Candidates who are not satisfied by the college that they get as per their ranks and doesn’t want to go to the further rounds of counselling choose the option of withdrawal.

Spot Counselling

Choice Locking is another part of this section where a time interval is provided to the candidates to lock their choice.

Step 4-       Result announcement of seat allotment by the authorities is done via online mode where an aspirant can check their seat allotment status of UPSEE Counselling 2020. At this stage there are four options available for the students to opt for i.e. Freeze, Float and Withdraw.

Step 5-       Candidates have to visit to the reporting centres as mentioned by the UPSEE Counselling 2020 authority and have to carry documents for verification process. If the candidate would not be able to reach the reporting centres in stipulated period of time his/her admission would be cancelled by the authorities.
