JEE Advanced 2018

Joint Entrance Examination (advanced) 2018, is conducted by the IITs (Indian institute of technology) under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB) for the admission in bachelor’s, integrated masters and dual degree programs (entry at the 10+2) of all the IITs and the ISM. JEE (advanced) is conducted for those students who have scored very good ranks in the JEE (main) and are seeking admission in the IITs, It is controlled by the IITs in rotation.

JEE(advanced)2018 : The candidates are hereby advised to read the following carefully , before filling the form online

The minimum academic qualification for appearing in JEE (Advanced) -2018 is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of Class 12thor equivalent qualifying examination Those appearing in these examinations in 2018 can also appear in JEE (Advanced)- 2018 provisionally. All the candidates aspiring to take admission in the undergraduate programmes at IITs and ISM Dhanbad for the year 2018 will have to appear in the Paper 1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main)-2018 Based on the performance in Paper 1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main)-2018, top 2,20,000 candidates (including all categories) will be eligible to appear in JEE(Advanced)-2018. Admissions to IITs/ISM Dhanbad will be based only on category-wise All India Rank (AIR) in JEE (Advanced), subject to conditions as defined in JEE (Advanced)–2018 website. A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in consecutive years irrespective of whether or not he/she passed the Qualifying Examination. The candidates, who have attempted JEE (Main) /JEE (Advanced) in 2016 or earlier, are NOT ELIGIBLE to appear in JEE(Advanced)–2018. The candidate who had taken admission in any institute other than IITs & ISM Dhanbad in 2017 is eligible to appear for the JEE(Advanced)2018 .  the ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA , FEE STRUCTURE , examination schedule are all discussed in detail below , the candidates are requested to read carefully before applying for the JEE(Advanced)2018.

The candidates need to be eligible in order to appear for the JEE(ADVANCE ) 2018 .

The candidates who are appearing for the JEE(ADVANCE ) 2018 , should have appeared in the JEE(MAIN)2018 as the JEE(MAIN) is the qualifying examination for the JEE(ADVANCE ) and the candidates should be among the top 2,24,000* (including all categories ) in paper 1 of the JEE (MAIN)2018. Percentage of various categories of candidates to be shortlisted are 27% - OBC-NCL, 15%- SC, 7.5%-ST ,50.5%-Open For Everyone and 5% horizontal reservation is included for PWD in all the categories .
