JEE Main 2018

Joint entrance examination (JEE) is conducted by CBSE ,for the admission in the undergraduate courses of IIITs (Indian Institute Of Information Technology ) NITs (National Institute Of Technology ) and other CFTIs ( Centrally Funded Technical Institutions. )Located across the country. For engineering courses candidates appear in Paper 1 and for Architectural courses candidates occur in paper 2. It is also the eligibility exam for JEE ADVANCE , for the admission in undergraduate courses offered by the IIT (Indian Institute Of Technology ) and ISM(Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad.               

The candidates should take note that The admission criteria include the performance in the class 12/equivalent qualifying Examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main).The Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs. The candidates from the states of Madhya Pradesh , Nagaland and Odisha who were earlier admitted based on their State Level Examination are also advised to fill in the JEE (MAIN) - 2018 Application form online .

After declaration of ALL INDIA RANK (AIR)OF JEE (MAIN)2018.

 

 

the candidates are informed to Log on to the official website for the exam, jeemain.nic.in, on the website a link saying apply for JEE mains 2018 will be there , the candidates are advised to Click on the link and download the information bulletin. The candidates are also informed to take note of all the instructions carefully. The candidates who wish to appear for the JEE(MAIN)2018 examination should have all scanned documents, Aadhaar card number, valid email ID and mobile phone number while applying. the candidates should fill the form and check before paying the fee , as the fees once Paid shall not be refunded and The candidate is also advised to take a print out of same.

The candidates who wish to appear for JEE(MAIN)2018 are hereby informed that as Aadhaar cards have been made mandatory, those candidates who have yet not applied/enrolled for a Aadhaar card should apply / enroll for one as soon as possible and those candidates who have applied/enrolled for Aadhar card but have yet not received it should enter 14 digit Aadhaar Enrolment ID (Including slash) printed on the Aadhaar enrolment slip at the time of filling online application form for JEE(Main) 2018 .however, the candidates who have a Aadhaar card should enter Aadhaar number, name, date of birth and gender in online application form for JEE(MAIN)2018 for the purpose of his or her identify and authentication of general information The above provisions shall be applicable in all states except J&K, Assam & Meghalaya

The payment can of the application form be made through two modes online mode (debit/credit card) or offline mode (e-challan of Syndicate/Canara/ICICI/HDFC Bank). In case the examination fee is paid through credit/debit card, the candidates will need to pay an additional processing charge as following:- Credit Card:-1.20% of the examination fee plus the GST as applicable. Debit Card:- 0.75%+GST for examination fee upto Rs.2000 and 1%+GST for examination fee more than Rs.2000. Date of birth the candidates who are born on or after 1st October , 1993. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC / ST /PWD candidates  i.e. the candidates born on or after 1st October 1988 are eligible.

Qualifying examination The candidates who have passed their class 12th examination or any equivalent examination in the year 2016 and 2017.The candidates who are currently appearing in the 12th class examination or any equivalent examination in the year 2018.  

Number Of Subjects In QualifyingExamination The candidates must have at least 5 subjects in 12th class / equivalent examination . Those Candidates who have 4 subjects in their 12th class /equivalent examination are not eligible to sit for the exams. If the candidates appear in the examination furnishing wrong information their rank /result shall not be declared.

No Of Attempts The number of attempts in JEE (MAIN) 2018 have been limited to 3 attempts.

Paper 1(B.E./B.TECH.) will be conducted in two modes , online and offline mode . The offline mode is a pen and paper based examination and online mode is a computer based examination Paper 2 (B.Arch /B.Planning ) will be conducted only in the offline mode which is Pen and Paper based examination The candidates can appear for Paper 1 or Paper 2 or both as per there course preferences . JEE Main Paper 1 Syllabus: The JEE Main paper 1 will be composed of all theory topics of three subjects which are physics, chemistry and mathematics. JEE Main Paper 2 Syllabus: The JEE Main paper 2 has been divided into three parts i.e. mathematics, aptitude test and drawing test. ADMIT CARD the candidates are hereby informed that the admit card for JEE (MAIN) 2018 will be available for download from the official website in the 2nd week of March, 2018 . The candidates are advised to download the Admit Cards from JEE (MAIN) website. ANSWER KEY JEE MAINS 2018 After the JEE Main exam, the official answer key and images of response sheets (OMR sheets) will be displayed between 24th – 27th April 2018. Candidates can download the answer key through the official website of JEE Main. The candidate can even write written challenge if not satisfied by the answer key. RESULT JEE MAINS 2018 The result for JEE Main (Paper 1) will be declared on the 30th April, 2018 and All India Rank for JEE Main (Paper 2) will be released on 31st May 2018. Candidates can check their JEE Main Result 2018 through the official site. Students are required to enter their roll number and date of birth and click on the submit button to generate your score card. After the result announcement, merit list will be prepared only on the basis of JEE Main Score. From the year 2017 board marks will not be taken in to account for preparing JEE main merit, but candidates who wish to take admission in to IIT’s, IIIT’s, NIT’s, CFTI’s must score at least 75% in their class 12th board exams as the mandatory eligibility.
