GPAT stands for Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test and is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) for admission in M.Pharma or equivalent courses. The application form is available on the official website of NTA from December 23rd 2020 till the last date i.e. January 23rd 2021. There are around 800 institutes that accepts GPAT 2021 scores. Earlier the exam was conducted by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education), but after 2007 it was conducted by NTA. GPAT 2021 is a national level Post Graduation test. GPAT is a computer-based examination.

  • An aspirant must possess a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or equivalent through a recognized University.
  • Candidates who are waiting for their graduation result before the commencement of admission for the academic session of 2021 – 22 can also apply.
  • Indian Nationality is a must.
  • There is no age bar for GPAT 2021

GPAT 2021 Registration Process:

Like other Entrance Exam the registration process is almost same. The complete application cum registration process is online and the application form for GPAT 2021 is available at the official website of NTA. The steps to register for GPAT 2021 are provided below:

Step – 1 Online registration via entering the basic details of the aspirant like

Name, Date of Birth, E-mail ID, Contact No, etc.

Step – 2 Creation of a GPAT 2021 account with the User ID and Password, this

Could done by confirmation of registration via OTP/email

Step – 3 Filling the complete Application form by furnishing the personal and

Academic details.

Step – 4 Uploading passports sized photograph and signature in a prescribed

Format and file size.

Step – 5 Payment of the registration fee for GPAT 2021 via debit/credit card.

 

GPAT 2021 Application Fee:

The application fee is different for the different sections of the society. The application fee is provided below:

For General/ OBC- NCL – Male: INR 1600 | Female: INR 800

For SC/ ST/ PwD – Male: INR 800 | Female: INR 800

For Transgender – INR 800

 

GPAT 2021 Exam Pattern:

GPAT 2021 is a CBT (Computer Based Test) which is conducted online at different allotted centers by NTA. For every correct answer a candidate will be alloted 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. The questions will be asked from the subjects and topics like General Studies, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutics.

Exam Day Guidelines for GPAT 2021

Preparation for the exam as well as for the exam day is one of the crucial things that an aspirant must keep in his mind. Keeping this in mind there are some points that is to be taken into consideration on exam date:

  • Carry your admit card of GPAT 2021 as hard copy, soft copy/digital copy is not acceptable at the exam centers.
  • Reach 2 hours before the examination timing.
  • Don’t carry valuables/electronics gadgets as these are not allowed in the examination room.
  • Carry one of the below mentioned Photo Id Proof at the examination centre:
