Joint Entrance Examination Main 2020 (JEE Main 2020) is a national level engineering qualifying examination for the aspiring students who are seeking a career in the field of engineering. JEE Main 2020 is conducted by the NTA (National testing Agency) from 2020 onwards. NTA (National Testing Agency) will be conducting the JEE Main Examination twice a year. The first Examination will be in January and the second Examination will be in April. The JEE Main 2020 is conducted for B.tech./B.e, B. Arch. and B. Planning separately. Paper I will be for B.tech./B.e admission, paper II will be for B. Arch. and paper III will be for B. Planning.
JEE Main 2020 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) which will be conducted online. The application forms for JEE Main 2020 are only available online. Candidates will have to fill up the JEE Main 2020 Application form available on the official website: http://jeemain.nic.in.
The application forms for JEE Main 2020 to be held in January are available on the official JEE Main website from 3rd September 2020 and for JEE Main 2020 to be held in April the forms will be available from 7th February 2020.
The last date to fill the form for JEE Main January 2020 is 30th September 2020 and for JEE Main April 2020 the last date to fill the form is 7th March 2020.
Registered Candidates will be able to download their Admit cards for JEE Main January 2020 from 6th December 2020 onwards.
The examination will be held from 6th to 11th January 2020.
The results for JEE Main January 2020 will be declared on 31st January 2020.
Candidates who have registered for JEE Main April 2020 will be able to download their Admit cards from 16th March 2020 onwards.
The examination will be held from 3rd to 9th April 2020.
The results for JEE Main April 2020 will be declared on 30th April 2020.
JEE Main 2020 Admit Card
The registered candidates will be able to download the admit cards from the official website http://jeemain.nic.in.
The admit cards will only be available online. For JEE Main 2020 January the admit cards will be available online from 6th December 2020 onwards and for JEE Main 2020 April the admit cards will be available from 16th March 2020 onwards.
To download the admit card the registered candidates must have their application number and security pin or date of birth. Only the candidates who have registered successfully will be able to download the admit card from the official website.

The new pattern for JEE Main 2020 consists of three papers. Paper, I will be for B.tech./B.e, this will be conducted online, paper II will be for B. Arch. and it has three parts, part 1 is the mathematics test, part 2 is the aptitude test. Part 1and part 2 will be conducted online and part 3 is drawing tests that will be conducted offline. Paper III is for B. Planning and it will be conducted online via Computer Based Test (CBT).
The time duration is 3 hours for JEE Main 2020.
For every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded4 marks and for every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
Paper I ( B.tech./B.e) is of 300 marks, paper II (B. Arch.) is of 400 marks and Paper III (B. Planning) is of 400 marks.
