JEECUP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2020

    JEECUP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2020 is a state-level entrance exam conducted by JEECUP (Joint Entrance Examination Council of Uttar Pradesh). The JEECUP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2020 is taken by candidates who are interested for getting admission in to various courses in the areas of Engineering, Pharmacy, Technology, and Management as well as other Diploma courses. JEECUP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2020 is an offline pen/paper  exam which is going to be conducted in the month of May. As per the notification released, JEECUP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2020 will be conducted on May 31, 2020. There are many polytechnic institutes based at Uttar Pradesh that offer admission on the basis of JEECUP scores.     UP Polytechnic JEECUP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2020:

    The educational qualification required for different groups are as follows:
     
    For Group A (Engineering & Technology Diploma)

    • Students must have passed 10th with at least 35% marks

     
    For Group B (Agriculture Engineering Diploma)

    • Students must have passed his 10th class with Agriculture and at least 35% marks or 12th with agriculture subject

     
    For Group C (Fashion Design, Home science and Textile design and engineering Diploma)

    • Student must have passed his 10th class with a minimum of 35% marks.

     
    For Group D (Library & Information Science/ Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice)

    • For Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice: students must be10th passed with 35% marks

     
    For Library & Information Science:

    • Student must have passed class 12th standard

     
    For Group E (Pharmacy Diploma)

    • Student Must have passed 10+2 class with Chemistry, Physics and any one of Math, Biology(Zoology and Botany) subject

     
    For Group F (PG Diploma in Biotechnology)

    • Student must have passed B.Sc with Biology and any one of the chemistry/ biotechnology subject.

     
    For Group G (PG diploma courses)

    • Any graduate can apply.

    For Group H (Hotel Management and Catering Technology diploma)

    • A student must have passed his 12th standard with at least 35% marks

     
    For Group I (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma)

    • Student must have passed 12th standard with 50% marks in PCM.

     
    For Group K (K1 to K8) (Lateral entry in engineering and technology diploma courses)

    • Should have passed 12th standard with Science or ITI (minimum 2 years duration)

     
    Note: The candidates who are going to appear for the qualifying exam in the year 2020 can also apply.
     
    Age Limit
    There is no upper age limit but the candidate should be at least 14 years old as on 1st July 2020
     

    How to Fill JEECUP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2020 Application Form

    • The online application form can be filled on the official website from 01st January, 2020.
    • Candidates can fill and submit their application form through online mode only.
    • Last date to submit the application form is 20th April 2020.
    • At the time of application, candidates must provide their valid mobile number address and other details.
    • Students can register for minimum three groups, i.e. one group each from A, E1/E2 and Group B/C/D/F/G/H/I/K1 to K8.
    • Students can do the rectification of errors from 21st April 2020.
    • Only a completely filled form is acceptable. Incomplete form will not let the procedure to complete the application process.

     

     Application Fee JEECUP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2020:

    Candidates can pay the application fee via two modes i.e. online and offline. Through online mode application fee can be deposited by using debit/credit card or by SBI E-challan method.
     
    Application Fee for various categories is given below:
     
    For General/OBC Candidates – Rs. 300 + Bank Charges
    For ST/SC Candidates – Rs. 200 + Bank Charges
     

    JEECUP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2020: Admit Card

    The candidates who are successfully registered are able to download admit card from the official website of UP Polytechnic Exam website. Admit card contains necessary details like exam date, timing, place of exam, etc. Candidates are requested to take few print outs of the admit card for future references, as no candidate would be allowed to enter the exam centre.
     

    JEECUP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2020 Result:

    The result for UP Polytechnic will tentatively be announced in the month of June/July. Candidate can download their score card by entering their credentials provided to them at the time of application. The result contains the total marks of the candidates and their status for qualification.
     

    JEECUP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2020 Counselling/Admission:

    The counselling process for UP Polytechnic may start in the
    Month of August. Candidates would be called for different
    Counselling rounds as per their score card/results. Counselling
    Is meant for the verification of the documents and the allotment of seat are purely based on that. Allotment of seats are according to the choices of the students at the time of application, on the basis of merit list and reservation policy of the polytechnic institutes as per the government of Uttar Pradesh.
