Respected Indramani Jatia established Seth Ganga Sagar Jatia Polytechnic – Khurja in memory of her husband Late Shri Seth Ganga Sagar Jatia.
She donated 52.03 acres of land and provided financial assistance to the government too.
Three-year diploma courses in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering were started in 1960.
Due to fast leading Ceramic industries in Khurja city, a three-year diploma course in Glass & Ceramic Engineering was started in 1972.
At present four courses are running in this institute.
Seth Ganga Sagar Jatia Polytechnic – Khurja library has around 37358 books related to different subjects of various disciplines of engineering, computer science, information technology, basic sciences, languages, and other general books.
The collection of books is strengthened and updated.
A separate Book Bank is also provided to meet the requirement of students of S.C., B.C., and other lower income groups.
The Book Bank has a collection of 11421 books.
