Duration = 5 years (ten semesters)

School of Law, Christ University (SLCU)offers a five-year integrated dual-degree (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law) law program that amalgamates Law subjects with that of Arts. The successful completion of this course will earn the student a B.A., LL.B. degree (Honours) which is awarded by CHRIST (Deemed to be University).

Admission criteria and eligibility for School of Law, Christ University, Bengaluru:

FOR UNDER GRADUATION:

  • The candidates applying to School of Law, Christ University (SLCU)should have passed +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) in any stream with minimum of 45% (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences) from any recognised Board in India
  • The candidates have to pass an Entrance Test, Skill Assessment, Micro Presentation (MP) for 90 sec & Personal interview

FOR POST GRADUATION:

  • A candidate must have passed LLB (3 or 5 year courses) with a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU
  • The candidates have to pass an Entrance Test, Skill Assessment & Personal interview

FOR M.PHIL:

  • The candidates should have passed Postgraduate level examination with an aggregate of 55% marks or equivalent grade in Law or relative disciplines from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU

FOR PH.D.:

  • The Students should have completed their post-graduation with minimum 55% from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU

  • The candidates who have qualified UGC- NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/ SLET/GATE/ teacher fellowship holder or have passed M.Phil.
