    • Procedure for Selection & Admission:
    • Registration:  Online counselling will be done for the selection of the Candidates. Candidates will have to register themselves on the counselling website to participate in the counselling.
    • Choice filling: Candidates have to fill in their choice preference then on the basis of rank obtained and availability of seats allotment will be done.
    • Admission & reporting at the college: Original documents are to be carried by the candidates at the time of admission to the allotted college. After which candidates will have to report to the allotted college within a particular time period.

     

    • Number of attempts:

    The restrain on the number of attempts was removed last year which is also not applicable for this year as well.

    According to the authority as long as the candidate can fulfill all the mentioned eligibility criteria he/she can appear in the entrance exam as many times as they wish to do.

    l.Provisional Merit List:

    • The merit list is compiled under some basic guidelines directed by Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India.
    • The eligibility is laid out according to the Graduate Medical Education Regulations 1997.
    • The determinants of NEET 2019 merit list includes the following terms:
    1.  An applicant must achieve minimum marks of 50th percentile in the entrance exam.
    2. The numbers of candidates to be included in the merit list are pre- determined.
    3. But in case required number of candidates fails to do so, then the central govt. in consultation with MCI and DCI may lower the required marks.
    4. At last candidates must have passed individually in their respective subjects and also they must have secured 50% in all these subjects.

     

    • Choice filling by the candidates according to their preference:
    • Availability of choice locking in provided only for a specific period of time.
    1. After registering yourself for the NEET 2019 Counselling completely, select the ‘choice available’ option.
    2. As soon as you click ‘choice available’ option system will assess all your given data such as category, sub category, date of birth, eligibility and then accordingly fetches all the available choices along with number of seats available.
    3. At the left side corner there will be all the choices available whereas, at the right side corner there will be submitted choices on the screen.
    4. Select medical/dental colleges in order of your preference. After you’re done with that complete the task by entering your password and clicking on ‘lock choices’.
    5. We advise you to think carefully and be sure about your choices as, candidates will not be allowed to make any changes after the whole choice filling process is done.
    6. Lastly, make sure you don’t forget to take a printout of the locked choice.

     

    • How exactly seats are allotted in NEET 2019 Counselling?
    • Candidates will receive SMS or E-mail regarding their allotted course and college after few days of counselling.

    When reporting for admission at the allotted institute, the candidate must bring the following documents with them:

    • NEET UG 2019 scorecard
    • Pass certificate of Class 10 and 10+2
    • Mark sheet of Class 10
    • West Bengal MBBS 2018 provisional seat allotment letter
    • Valid ID proof. (School or College ID card/Voter ID card/Aadhar card/Passport)
    • Medical Certificate from Registered Medical Allopathic Practitioners
    • Verification slip generated during pre-counselling phase.
    • Final verification slip generated after the document verification.
    • Category certificate
    • Orthopaedic Physical Disability Certificate issued by a medical board of IPGMER Kolkata. Certificate issued by other authorities will not be accepted

     

    l.Reporting to the Allotted College:

    ·As per the seat allotment, candidates have to report to the allotted college.

    ·Candidates must carry their original documents and their photocopies at the allotted college in the prescribed date and timing.

    ·The respective college authority will verify the document before finalizing the admission.

    l.Reservation Criteria

    The seats will be reserved in each participating college in the state medical and dental courses. The reservation criteria are fixed by the state government. The reservation of seats for the candidates of MP state is as follows:

    • ST: 20%
    • SC: 16%
    • OBC: 14%
    • PwD candidates: 3%
    • Wards of Military Person: 3%
    • Freedom Fighters: 3%
    • Female Candidates: 30%
